Heff's Hits: 2023 Ohio ProCase Edition
The Ohio ProCase was once again a huge success, as the talent in the Buckeye State showed out during the showcase.
Some of the highlights:
- Around 70 prospects in total, with 42 of those being position/two-way talents.
- With 37 arms on display, we saw 14 touch 90+ mph. Benjamin Rabatin and Landon Brandt came in with the top velocity at 94.3 and 93.7 respectively.
- Nine hitters at 100+ mph exit velo and 19 being 95+ mph, with the best coming from Brady Schnierer).
- 19 sub-7.0 runners, with the best being 6.41 (Alex Laird)
- Three of the 14 infielders had 90+ mph velo, with the best being 93 mph (Carter Christenson). All infielders were 80+ mph.
- 10 outfielders were at 81+ mph, with the top velo coming in at 90 mph (Dominic Bouscher).
- Seven catchers showed out, with the best velo coming in at 84 mph (Cole Raile) and the best pop time coming in at 1.81 (Ben Clark).
