OSSAA Team Preview: Edmond Memorial Bulldogs
February 29, 2024
Team: Edmond Memorial Bulldogs
2023 Record: 21-18
Classification: 6A
Head Coach: JP Holman
Years at the Helm: 4
Total Runs: 277/175
Average Runs: 7.29/4.61
Average Differential: 2.68
Outlook:
The Bulldogs start their 2024 campaign with one of the deepest rosters in the 6A division. They have a ton of top end speed that will help them both offensively and defensively. They have some firepower at the top of the order that have a chance to be one of the more dangerous offenses in the class. The Bulldogs did not graduate much of the offensive production but will feel the losses of much of their pitching production from a year ago. Memorial still brings back one of their top arms and will rely on some younger pitchers to give them some big innings in 2024. Edmond Memorial undoubtedly is one of the top teams on the west side and have a chance to make a serious run to a state tournament this spring.
Impact Players:
Rhett Winchester, 2025, OF, Uncommitted
2025 OF @RhettWinchester (@EMHSBaseball) comes up clutch with two strikes to smoke a triple the LCF gap to bring in his little brother and tie us back up at 5 here in the bottom of the 11th. One of the top athletes in the class with sneaky pop@PBR_Oklahoma pic.twitter.com/DWvJ2Hd41V
— Scott Hood PBR (@PBRHood) March 18, 2023
The former Future Gamer will likely see himself again at the top of the order for the Bulldogs this spring where he is a proven producer and will be the everyday CF. Winchester is a high contact hitter typically trying to work up the middle showing the ability to hit to both the pull side and to the opposite field working up to a 96.1 exit velocity. Winchester is a plus outfielder with the ability to cover tons of ground (6.57 sixty time) with an accurate arm. Winchester is one of the leaders of this Edmond Memorial squad with a high IQ and has one of the highest motors in the state.
Noah Entrekin, 2025, LHP, Dallas Baptist Commit

Big shape in CB and low 70’s CH
Projectable LHP with much more in the tank #PBRFG23 pic.twitter.com/EUfD0Y5DxX
The long, whippy LHP locked in his commitment to DBU in the fall and looks to lead a young pitching staff into the 2024 season. Entrekin will be the Monday arm for the Bulldogs where he pitched well in the same role back in 2023 as a sophomore. The DBU commit fills the zone at 87-89 and mixes in a CB with depth and a quality CH with fade. We are interested to see how Entrekin has developed over the off season as he has some of the highest upside in the ‘25 class.
Cooper Kardokus, 2026, INF/RHP, Uncommitted
2026 INF @CooperKardokus (@EMHSBaseball) continues to shine on the big stage as an incoming sophomore picking up a pair of hits from the left side

Kardokus got thrown into the fire as a freshman in 2023 and had arguably one of the best seasons in the state out of the ‘26 class. The switch hitting INF will spend most of his time at the hot corner this spring but has spent a good amount of time at SS and can slide over to 2B if needed. Kardokus has quick hands at the plate and has added more lift to his swing over the offseason. Kardokus has an athletic build and has added strength in the last year which makes him even more of an extra base threat than in the past. We are intrigued to watch Kardokus this spring as the number five player in the ‘26 class and lone freshman from our 2023 Future Game roster looks to lead a talented Bulldog offense.
Jase Winchester, 2026, INF, Uncommitted

➕92 mph exit velo max
➕87 mph INF velo
➕7.09 60 time
Showed off his advanced defensive abilities at the #OKPAS w/smooth actions and glove work. Increased strength w/the barrel makes him an intriguing prospect to follow in the future pic.twitter.com/QU7wClCR7s
Winchester gained valuable experience as a freshman a year ago and will hope to build on that experience in his sophomore year. Winchester will be the everyday SS and has a good chance to hit at the top of the order in 2024. He has shown advanced ability up the middle defensively using solid hands and smooth actions to be considered amongst the top defenders in the state at any position. He is a high contact hitter looking to put the ball in play but has still put up exit velocities up to 92 showing the extra base potential. Winchester will be a key piece if the Bulldogs want to have success this spring.
Justin Tracy, 2025, OF/LHP, Uncommitted

Goes down and gets this one. Keeps the hands in and pulls it in the 4 hole. Great piece of two strike hitting. @LakePointSports #16Nat23 pic.twitter.com/a4Tz8fX89O
Justin Tracy has the opportunity to be an impactful two-way player for the Bulldogs this spring. Tracy will hit in the heart of the Bulldog order and has shown the ability to hit for average and power. Tracy runs well and has shown the potential to be a quality defender in the outfield. On the mound, he utilizes a high spin FB in the low to mid 80’s dropping in a CB with depth and mixing in a harder CH in the mid to upper 70s. Tracy has a real chance to be a gamechanger this spring due to his versatility.
Caleb Hines, 2025, RHP, Uncommitted
2025 OF/RHP @Caleb_Hines15 (Oklahoma Christian) used his strong rotational swing to generate exit velos up to 93 mph at the Underclass Games then shows his 2-way potential by going up to 85 on the mound using his quick and clean arm action pic.twitter.com/ur3uGzjJ2S
— PBR Oklahoma (@PBR_Oklahoma) July 5, 2022
Hines has a chance to be one of the top pitchers on this Memorial team with high upside and a projectable 6-foot-2 and 180 pound frame. He worked up to 86 mph last summer and we are curious about the jumps he has made since the last time we saw him. Hines works in two quality off-speed pitches with a CB (2600 spin) and CH with arm side fade in the high 70s.
