The PBR Power 25 is the only North Carolina High School Baseball poll that captures every team in North Carolina, regardless of classification or affiliation. The PBR Power 25 is voted on by PBR staff and posted every other week, once the high school season begins.
This is the 3rd year of the PBR Power 25 in NC and it features some familiar names from years past. We are excited to be able to do it again after the pandemic shortened season in 2020. Private schools have been playing since February and now that public schools are in action we can begin to get a feel for who is the best of the best in North Carolina High School Baseball.

Talented roster. Have the arms to shutdown teams with a lineup that can score runs and be solid defensively.Could be a special year for them | |

Depth and experience across the board. Should be a tough team to beat. | |

Josh Hartle is no secret on the mound. Athletic lineup that can score runs. Look for them to be playing late in the year. | |

They have 3 strong arms to choose from and the hitters should do enough for them to be hard to beat. | |

Fuquay Varina |
Record: 1-1 | |
Talent throughout the roster. Two left handers on the mound should create tough matchups for everyone they play. | |

Charlotte Christian |
Record: 17-6 | |
They have talent and can win games in a variety of ways. They have battled through injuries this year but look for them to make another State Title run. | |

Wake Forest |
Record: 2-0 | |
Kahlil Watson is electric. Enough depth around him to make a deep playoff run. | |

South Brunswick |
Record: 1-0 | |
Aubrey Smith, Walker Jenkins and Cameron Burgess could lead them through the 3A east. | |

Providence |
Record: 1-1 | |
3 arms that can dominant with a lineup than can find a way to produce runs. | |

North Davidson |
Record: 1-1 | |
Big win over Reagan. Merritt Beeker is their ace and the lineup has depth and athleticism. | |

Big offensive games to start the year. Will be fun to watch them against high end arms. | |

Northern Guilford |

PItching staff has depth. Offense has to do enough to win close games. | |

A traditional power that didn't allow a run in their first 2 games. Matthew Matthjis gives them a true ace. | |

Deep lineup that can score in bunches. Expect them deep in the playoffs as usual. | |
