Ohio Insider: Gast Sold On Ashland Athletics And Academics
Owen Gast OF / 3B / Toledo Christian, OH / 2018Rankings State Rank:188 POS:27
TOLEDO - The combination of athletics and academics was the selling point for Owen Gast and the Toledo Christian senior made a commitment to Ashland University. “They’re excellent in both,” Gast said. “It shows you can have both sports and grades. They had a 3.2 GPA at Ashland last year. When it came down to it, their baseball was the right fit for me and my development.” The 188th-rated player in the state attended a Senior Day Camp at the college and, obviously, things went well. |
