Risers

There are always players that make impressive jumps between rankings that really standout as the move up the board. Here are just a few of the top ranked and biggest movers from this update.

Otto Knust 1B / RHP / Shawnee Mission South, KS / 2026

Knust ended his summer as loudly as any prospect in the state having made a huge jump on both sides of the ball. It is on the mound that that Knust shows the most promise where he saw his velo climb up to 89 at the 15U National Championships at Lakepoint. Knust is up 33 spots in this rankings.

Bristol Barbour RHP Louisburg, KS / 2026

Barbour made his return at the end of this fall and showed impressive improvement. The now 6-foot-2, 180-pound right-handed commanded the zone with a fastball up to 86 and an advanced curveball spinning at 2800 at the Kansas City Fall Open. Barbour is up 25 spots in this rankings and could easly see his name continue to rise as he continues to fill out.

Kamden Dick OF / RHP / Mill Valley, KS / 2026

Its all about projection with Dick as he sees him name shot up nearly 30 spots in this rankings. The two-way prospect saw all of his measurables and velo increase substantially and he is only going to keep getting better as he continues to fill out his 6-foot-2, 157-pound frame.

Newcomers

We constantly strive to see as many players as many times as possible so it is always exciting when we see a player for the first time who makes a splash into the rankings. Below are some of the top ranked newcomers to the rankings.

Daxton Grissom C / 3B / Olathe South , KS / 2026

Always an offensive producer and solid catcher behind the plate, Grissom makes a big splash in the rankings as he lands in the top 30 thanks to the addition of substancial strength and speed.

Luke Venneman C / OF / Olathe East, KS / 2026

Left-handed hitting catchers are always at premium and Venneman is one of the most athlitc ones in the state. A unique blend of power and speed behind the plate, Venneman posted a s6.92 60, 88 EV, and showcase poptimes of 1.9-1.96 at the Natural Baseball Academy Scout Day. As Venneman continues to put on strength, he will be a must see prospect.

Kian Hopkins SS / 2B / DeSoto, KS / 2026

A solid defender in the middle infielder, Hopkins has sneaky juice at the plate with a polished swing. Hopkins is a prospect to follow as he continues to add size and strength.

Brandon Parks 3B / RHP / Blue Valley West, KS / 2026

Parks jumps back into the rankings after making a making strides on both sides of the ball, especially on the mound, thanks to some added height and weight. The right-hander was up to 82 in his pen at the Cavaliers Scout Day with much more in the tank.

Nolan Bell RHP / 3B / Blue Valley, KS / 2026

Bell showed real pitchability with three in his pen at the MacNSeitz Scout Day with a fastball up to 81, but more impressively with a heavy changeup and a tight spinning slider in the low 70s.  Bell's clean delivery and fluid arm action should produce much more velo and make him an arm to dream on.
