Top 10 Uncommitted 2025s

Brycen Botos RHP / SS / Millard South, NE / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 17 / POS: 4 Legit two-way upside at the next level. Although his brightest days ahead are on the mound, you must recognize his potential at the plate and in the field. He has deception in his motion that hides the ball well and a slider that flashes some swing-and-miss qualities. Improvement on his raw numbers from May 21, 2023, Elite 50 event (89 FB , 94.8- EXIT ,89- INF, 7.32 - 60) into some more elite company seems inevitable with the history of the Millard South program; he will have plenty of opportunities at the next level.

Brennan Miller RHP / SS / Waverly, NE / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 18 / POS: 5 Has added considerable physicality headed into the spring season. His fastball has ticked up to sitting in the 87-89 range. His size doesn't detract from his movement on the mound, including great fluidity down the slope and loose arm action. There is a lot of upside to dream about for schools at the next level.

Isaac Pamaran OF / SS / Papillion LaVista , NE / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 19 / POS: 6 Multi-sport athlete who excels on the gridiron and the diamond. Short, compact left-handed swing with great barrel control makes Pamaran the top hitter on the board in Nebraska. He occasionally flashes some juice, but his game is line drives in the gaps and causing chaos on the base paths, and he does it at a high level. Great instincts and good raw numbers (6.87-69, 86- OF) that likely improved from the last scout day in June 2023 give him everything he needs to succeed in college.

Carter Harmes SS / 2B / Lincoln East, NE / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 20 / POS: 2 Smooth defender with soft hands and an instinctive first step. Has the arm strength and body control to stay on the left side in college. Had a big summer and fall offensively with better consistency and barrel control.  With a max exit velo of 98.2 he has all the traits for a productive hitter in college, if consistency at the plate continues Carter has the defensive prowess and hitting ability that recruiters covet.

Bryce Andersen LHP / 1B / Kearney, NE / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 21 / POS: 4 I think Byrce has as much upside as anyone in the class, including an 85.4 MPM fastball at the Elite 50 last May. He has the size/movement/arm action you are looking for in a future dominant left-handed pitcher at the next level. Improvement in fastball consistency and offspeed movement will be what recruiters will want to see this spring and summer.

Kale Koch 3B / RHP / Beatrice, NE / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 22 / POS: 3 Kale has an athletic physique that produces some of the loudest rounds of BP in the class. His 102.2 exit velo is on full display when he is in the box, and improving on some swing-and-miss tendencies and rounding out his game on the defensive side will go a long way for college coaches that are out watching; he has the body, athleticism and sound off the barrel schools are looking for already.

Owen Musil 1B / RHP / Elkhorn South, NE / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 23 / POS: 1 Upside both on the mound and at the dish at the next level. Under the radar heading into the spring season,  played behind an talented/older Elkhorn South roster but is primed to step into a bigger role in the '24 season. With raw numbers of - 93.5 exit velocity, 87 INF, 86 - FB, 7.19 - 60 - Owen has a great chance to be a helium candidate this spring with the increased opportunity.

Mason Wisnieski 3B / RHP / Malcolm , NE / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 24 / POS: 4 Small school two-way talent. Don't let the small school competition fool you; Mason has a consistent swing and finds the barrel as good as anyone left on the board in the class. Multiple ABs at a May Elite 50 event saw him comfortably handle some of the top arms attending. With an average exit velocity from that event of 90.4 and a max of 95.6, the numbers back it up. Glove plays enough but will need to improve on the short area quickness to stay at 3B. On the mound, he projects as a strike-throwing bullpen arm, depending on the level he chooses.

Jakob Ruhl RHP / SS / Central City-Fullerton-Centura, NE / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 25 / POS: 6 Jakob has steadily improved his number and physicality since his first event in '22. He has filled out his long, lean body daily and saw his fastball in the mid-80s this summer. He has a quicker arm through a ¾ slot that produces a tough angle for RHH. Pitching at a high level is in the family with his older brother, a weekend starter on the Kansas State pitching staff. I firmly believe Ruhl's best days on the mound are ahead of him.

Grant Gilbreath OF / RHP / Papillon La Vista South , NE / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 26 / POS: 7 Grant has the most eye-popping showcase numbers of the glass  - 6.48 60, 90 - OF, 96.2 exits. Injuries have kept Grant from showing his full potential on the diamond. They are nothing major but enough to hinder his ability to get consistent ABs throughout the last spring/summer/fall seasons. Gilbreath has all the raw talent any school in the country is looking for. If he can stay on the field consistently, he can get on school radars in a hurry.
