Inside the Rankings: 2023 Catchers

We continue on to the promising 2023 class, providing you with a position by position analysis of the top players in what could be the next great class to come out of Nevada. Creating the PBR Rankings are never an easy process, but with the help of our Scout Days, prior PBR events as well as PBR Scouts and associates watching more games, tracking and reporting on more players than any other anybody else in the industry, we are excited to take a break down each class at each position over the coming days.

Inside the Rankings continues with a look at the Top Ranked Catchers. The group is highlighted by #5 overall 2023 prospect and Bishop Gorman product, Anthony Marnell IV, who will be heading to Georgia this summer to represent Team Nevada at the Future Games. The group also features a handful of high ceiling prospects that are already showing above average actions behind the plate including Liberty's Lauren Binney, a pair of Faith Lutheran prospects, Mikey Albanese and Jake Garavuso,  and Bishop Gorman's Stephen Landaz. This is a group loaded with projection that could make big leaps in the coming years and Prep Baseball Report will be there to cover them along the way.
