Inside the Rankings: 2020 Left Handed Pitchers

Brett Harrison
Nevada Scouting Director

We continue to dive into the top ranked prospects at each position in each class to help bring to light just how deep the 2020 class is in Nevada. Creating the PBR Rankings are never an easy process, but with the help of our Scout Days, prior PBR events as well as PBR Scouts and associates watching more games, tracking and reporting on more players than any other anybody else in the industry, we are excited to take a break down each class at each position over the coming days.

The 2020 PBR Player Rankings are made up of the top 75 players in the state and the limited numbers of left handed pitchers in that group proves how much of a premium it is to have left handed pitching in your rotation. Coronado has two southpaws in Centralia commit, Nolan Patterson, and Southern Idaho commit, Logan Bleazard. The list is lead by Bishop Gorman's Noah Glaser, who was one of the top arms at the Uncommitted Upperclass and was primed for a successful senior season. Desert Oasis' Jacob Baca, a Big Bend commit, is a competitor on the mound and has turned himself into a prospect with the hard work he had put in throughout his high school career. Each of these prospects will be able to compete for a job as soon as they step on their respective campuses next year.

Below we take a look at a handful of the top ranked left handed pitchers in the the Nevada 2020 class.
