Preseason All-State Roster Preview: Part Seven

Scott Hood
Oklahoma State Director

As we get prepared for our premiere event of the year in the Preseason All-State, we start the process by breaking down each individual attendee with notes on videos their game.  The Preseason All-State attracts some of the top talent from all across the state creating platforms and driving eye-balls for recruiters and scouts at the next level to help guide them throughout the spring recruiting.  This year's event will take place once again at Oral Roberts University of February 11th featuring a pro-style workout with data collected by our tech partners, social media coverage, and updated video for the profile.

There are still currently spots available but filling up quickly.  Click HERE to secure your spot today

Jacob Wehba SS / 2B / Westmoore, OK / 2025

Wehba played a large part on the Jaguar's run to the 6A State Tournament picking up big hits throughout the 2023 season.  We haven't had data on Wehba in almost 2 years having last attended the OK Summer Open back in 2022 and expect to see big jumps in the numbers from him at this year's Preseason All-State.  Wehba is an athletic defender with strong glove action and showing strong lateral range.  Wehba is a highly productive player that should see big jumps in the near future.

Rhett Winchester OF / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2025

Winchester has long been on our radar as one of the top outfield prospects in the 2025 class.  The athletic outfielder competed for Team OK at this past summer's Future Games where he put up strong numbers during the workout portion and showed the type of skills teams at the next level are looking for.  Winchester has turned in a laser timed 6.66 60 allowing him to cover a ton of ground in the outfield and has enough arm strength to make all the throws.  Offensively, he's reached exit velos in the past into the mid 90's and has some sneaky in-game power that will show up at times.  Winchester has been collecting hits for Edmond Memorial since his freshman year and should be one for schools at the next level to key in on in the near future.

Easton Wolfe 2B / RHP / Sallisaw, OK / 2027

Wolfe competed this past summer for Team OK at the Junior Future Games where he showed a strong all-around skill set and feel for a high baseball IQ.  The numbers might not jump off the page just yet in measurables, but Wolfe has strong actions in the infield and a smooth delivery on the mound that should translate into more gains as he continues to add strength and experience.  Wolfe has an athletic swing with loose hands that creates strong barrel control and more sneaky pop than the frame would suggest.

Isaac Worden LHP / OF / Edmond North, OK / 2025

We last got eyes on the 2-way prospect from Edmonth North at the Top Prospect Upperclass Games this past June.  Worden has high upside on the mound working fastballs up to 83 mph in the past and showing tight spin and feel on the curveball.  Offensively, he has shown some strength at contact with exit velos up to 90.6 and some arm strength from the outfield touching 84 mph.  Worden is just a small jump away from taking another step into a higher echelon of prospects and should be an interesting watch this Sunday at the Preseason All-State.

Alexander Woods RHP / 3B / Tulsa Union , OK / 2024

We'll get an updated look at the 2-way prospect from Union after last seeing him at the Top Prospect Upperclass Games in June 2023.  Recent reports from him have shown a jump in velo on the mound working into the upper 80's and he can pair that with a tight spinning breaking ball.  Offensively, Woods has shown some strength at contact in the past with exit velos up to 92.2 mph thanks to strong rotation around the core.  Woods currently remains uncommitted and will look to put up a strong performance this Sunday at ORU.

Wyatt Williamson C / 3B / Mustang, OK / 2026

We'll get an updated look at the sophomore prospect at the Preseason All-State after last getting eyes on him in December of 2022 at the Stillwater Preseason ID.  Williamson is already showing a physical frame with strength in the lower half that he uses effectively in the swing.  Williamson offers up some positional versatility with the ability to handle himself behind the plate as well as manning the hot corner at third base.  Williamson will look to improve the data on his profile this coming Sunday at ORU.

Laird Williams RHP / 1B / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2026

We last caught Laird on the mound this previous summer at Creekside in KC where he just began to ramp back up on the mound after sustaining a lower body injury.  Even after time off, Williams impressed with a heavy tilted fastball working in the mid 80's and showing a feel for how to attack hitters.  Williams already stands at a physical 6-foot-6 and 260 pounds, his delivery and arm action paired with his natural strength should make for big strides on the mound with more velocity coming in the near future.  With Williams healthy and back on the mound, look for him to start creating some buzz around his name headed into his sophomore campaign.

Blake Whittington OF / 2B / Jenks, OK / 2026

Whittington heads to the Preseason All-State after putting together a strong performance last summer at the WBO Tulsa Prospects Scout Day.  The outfielder has above average athleticism running a 6.75 laser timed 60 and generated exit velocities into the upper 80's.   Whittington has a simple and repeatable swing at the plate with strong rotation and consistent path to the ball with the level bat path.  Whittington possesses the type of game changing speed and athleticism that translates well to in-game performance and should be one to keep an eye on in the future.

Harley Warnke C / SS / Hominy, OK / 2024

It's been exactly a year since we last caught Warnke after he worked out at the 2023 Preseason All-State.  Standing at a projectable 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, Warnke uses a simple and quick swing with a line drive approach and level bat path.  Behind the plate, Warnke showed strong hip flexibility and receiving skills.  This year, we'll get a look at him on the mound as well as he looks to improve his stock heading into his senior season.

Brayden Trogdon RHP / 1B / Yukon , OK / 2026

Trogdon returns to a Prep Baseball Oklahoma event after we last saw him at the Top Prospect Underclass Games at O'brate this past summer.  Trogdon showed some potential 2-way talents with the fastball working in the low 80's and a hard downer curveball as firm as 74 mph.  At the plate, Trogdon showed strength at contact with exit velos up to 87.1 mph and an average of 82.7 mph.  Standing at a lean and projectable 6-foot-2 and 170 pounds, Trogdon has the frame and size to continue to add strength which should translate into higher numbers and more production in the future.
