VA/DC Team Of The Week: Week 6

In 2023, our staff would like to take a look at a Virginia/DC high school team that had a big week and earned the honor of Team Of The Week.

This week the award goes to the Liberty Christian Bulldogs. Liberty Christian pulled off two big wins last week to move to 8-0 on the season. On Tuesday LCA beat current #18 Amherst 3-2. They were powered by a strong performance on the mound by Ben Blair (Liberty) and a big day at the plate by Will Palmer (Campbell).

Palmer would come through clutch again on Friday, as he threw five shutout innings, added a big hit and was responsible for both runs scored in that 2-0 victory over EC Glass.
