LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - Prep Baseball California is proud to announce the hiring of Matt Monk as Manager of Operations and Content. 

Matt Monk is currently a student at SDSU who interned with Prep Baseball California in 2023 in our operations and content department. Monk is a journalism and media studies major with a minor in International Security and Conflict Resolution. Monk was a pitcher at Albany High School in the Bay Area where he compiled a 1.88 ERA over 56 innings pitched. 

"Matt brings such a diverse skillset to our organization" said Les Lukach, Prep Baseball California State Director. "His knowledge of the game, understanding of what we do as an organization, and his passion for helping people are all attributes that attracted us to him as an intern and now as a permanent hire. I am very excited to see his continued growth as he takes on a bigger role with Prep Baseball California.
