SNEAK PEEK TOP PERFORMERS: CLASS OF ‘16/’17 GAMES

Alex Darden, LHP, North Farmington HS, 2016

6-foot-4, 175 pound long and loose athletic frame. Low ¾ arm slot with great extension from the left side. Fastball sits 83-85 mph with plus arm side run.

Michael Ryan, C, Bishop Foley HS, 2016

6-foot, 205 pound big strong body prospect. Creates a big wide frame for pitchers to throw to behind the plate. Blocks and receive the ball well. Quick transfers allow for a solid pop time of 1.94-2.07 on throws to second base.

Cam Stella, RHP/OF, Plymouth HS, 2016

5-foot-10, 175 pound quick twitch athlete. Arm is long and loose from ¾ slot. Fastball sits at 84-85 mph with some arm side run. Slurve type breaking ball at 72-74 mph, with the ability to locate on both sides of the plate.

Mason Erla, RHP/1B, Cass City HS, 2016

6-foot-4, 180 pound long and lanky prospect. Fastball had good arm side run at 86-87 mph. Keeps weight back at times and will add velocity with connection of lower half. Curve-ball was 68-69. Showed good command of fastball, left curve-ball elevated at times.
