NC: Carson, White Shutout Marvin Ridge

The stellar 2018 season for Carson HS Sr RHP Owen White continued on Tuesday night as he dominated what had been a hot offense. White threw a complete game shutout on 94 pitches, 67 for strikes.
Carson jumped to a 3-0 lead after one. Brycen Holshouser and Cameron Prugh each singled, followed by White reaching on an error to load the bases. A fielder’s choice would score Holshouser, and a couple of hitters later, with one out, Cameron Pyle’s single scored two.
The three runs would be more than enough for White as he pounded the zone, striking out 9 in the outing.
