Prep Baseball Report's Nebraska Top Prospect Showcase event took place on Sunday, May 21, 2017. The event was held at Westside High School in Omaha, NE. The event featured prospects from the 2018-2020 classes who showcased their talents in front of our scouting staff and multiple coaches in attendance.
Since few schools in Nebraska have freshman on their spring team we selected some 2020 graduates to participated that were recommended our way throughout the state. If the group who attended the Top Prospect event is an early indication of the talent level in that class it could give the strong core of the 2018 class a run for their money.
