Scouting Report
Physical: Twitchy, upside 6-foot, 165-pound frame. 7.13 runner in the 60YD.
Offensively: RHH. Wide, slightly open stance, as the hands operate with rhythm. Utilized a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing through a flat, rotational path into the hitting zone. Created a mostly pull-side approach while turning off of the back hip, allowing for some leverage during a T84MPH EV. Worked up to an estimated 306FT via Trackman.
Defensively: The OF played from behind the ball and fielded softly out of a bent posture. Maintained quality tempo and downhill momentum for an 86MPH throwing arm (H ¾). Actions transfer equally well to the bump.
Pitching: LHP. Center setup on the rubber; quicker pace to the delivery with a leg-swing and coil at the top of the stack. Stayed balanced in the hip-hinge and accelerated at release for an 86-87MPH FB with ride/run. Mixed a hard, lateral 68-70MPH CB; 10 in HM with ability to kill a fading 78-81MPH CH to arm-side.
