Justin Hurley, RHP, Burlington (MA), 2017
Scouting Report: Justin attended out Massachusetts Pitchers Analysis 3/9. He is a quick-armed right handed pitcher who showed plus command and action on his pitches during the session. The delivery is simple, as he has some forward lean to the plate during the pitch. The fastball has sink to it, touched 85 mph. The spin pitch was a breaking ball, and has the right shape to it, could be eventually be plus at 72 mph. The changeup is excellent, right action and fade to it, touched 74 mph. He is throwing the ball well this spring and we are anxious to see him this June. He projects as division 1 or 2 pitcher, dependent on development.
