OSSAA Team Preview: Duncan Demons
February 28, 2024
Team: Duncan Demons
2023 Record: 23-13
Classification: 5A
Head Coach: Randy Smith
Total Runs: 257/160
Average Runs: 7.14/4.44
Average Differential: 2.69
Outlook:
The Duncan Demons come into the 2024 season looking to make some noise in the 5A division. The Demons have an explosive top part of the order to go along with some power pitching. Offensively, they have a pair of some of the most impactful bats in the state with some young guys ready to make an impact. If Duncan wants to make a run this spring, it will be because the bottom part of the order will be able to produce and the pitching staff will be able to hold up over the season.
Impact Players:
Eli Ramirez, 2025, UTL/RHP, Oklahoma Commit

Ramirez has made a name for himself over the past couple of seasons and looks to carry that into this spring. The OU commit has shown the ability to make an impact as both an infielder and outfielder on the defensive side. As a hitter, the hands work very quickly through the zone and shows strong overall bat speed. He uses a light uphill bat path and shows some strength at contact. On the mound, Ramirez works up to 92 with a sharp SL that generates some swing and miss. Look for Ramirez to continue to develop and produce at the top of the Demon lineup this spring.
Michael Barham, 2024, INF, Cowley Commit

The man they call “Chago” has been one of the more premier power bats in the state the last few seasons and will look to continue that into his senior campaign. The RHH begins in a balanced stance with a tight load, then uses a small leg kick to start his swing. He works primarily to the pull side with high exit velocities showing the ability to lift the ball. Barham profiles as a corner INF but will likely slide over to SS this spring when his counterpart Eli Ramirez hops on the mound.
Bentley Seeberger, 2027, C/RHP, Uncommitted

Generally speaking, we don't usually include freshman in the category of impact player. Bentley breaks that mold in this case thanks to an already physical game that is ready to translate to the Varsity level. Seeberger has already put up major numbers at some of our events in the past year and we are intrigued to see how he plays at the varsity level this spring. On the mound, Seeberger has worked up to 86 mph throwing a hard 78-80 mph CB which usually means another velocity jump is on the way soon. Seeberger has also been a sub 2.00 pop time and has shown power potential working exit velocities up to 96.9 mph. Keep an eye on Seeberger this spring, because if he continues to develop he will be a massive 2-way threat for years to come.
Players To Watch:
Preston Giles, 2025, INF/OF, Uncommitted
Jackson Poage, 2025, C, Uncommitted
