Inside The Rankings - Clow, Fontenelle and Russell

Without a spring season in 2020, we’re left to wonder ‘what could have been’ on a wide array of storylines. Would teams be able to defend their titles from 2019? Which underdogs would become contenders? Who would be the breakout players of 2020? Which top prospects would continue their dominance and end their careers on a high note? Unfortunately we won’t be getting those answers.

While we wait for baseball to return, we thought it was a good time to go thru our newly updated rankings and give more in-depth analysis and insight on the top players in the state.

On our first dive “Inside the Rankings”, we break down the Top 3 position players in the 2020 class:

Nate Clow, SS, Beamer, USC commit

Cole Fontenelle, SS, Skyline, Washington commit

Kyle Russell, SS, Curtis, Washington State commit

What separates the 3? Who has the highest ceiling? Can they stick at SS?
