Spring Picks To Click: 2026 Outfielders

Hudson Graham and Ian Smith
Prep Baseball Georgia

As the 2024 Georgia high school season nears, and we finish up our last rankings update of the year we take a look at some players that are primed and ready for big sophomore years. This can be a pivotal year for many of these players as some will earn starting spots on their varsity squads, and be relied on as key contributors. Playing varsity baseball in Georgia is no small task, and contributing as a sophomore is even harder to come by. These 8 outfielders are our "pick to click" this spring. We know there will be tons of guys with that stand out this spring, and we look forward to getting out to cover the entire state to find those players.. Be sure to follow along the next few days as we will be releasing infielders and pitchers as well.

Malachi Washington, Outfielder

Height: 6-foot-0

Weight: 185-pounds

High School: Parkview

Commitment: Uncommitted

+ A huge mover in the class, and now just outside of the Top 10, Washington is without a doubt one of the names to know this spring. Likely starting centerfielder for perennial powerhouse Parkview high school, Washington brings a physical, athletic 6-foot frame with impressive hands and barrel control that leads to an advanced hit tool for the class. Fall reports continue to praise the incoming sophomore as one of the best defensive outfielders in the state. Massive name to watch as we get rolling this spring.

Matthew Franatovich, Outfielder

Height: 6-foot-1

Weight: 180-pounds

High School: Lambert

Commitment: Uncommitted

+ Franatovich has quickly been on the rise and has had a strong and consistent summer. We first saw him during 14u, and he has only progressed since then. The power is starting to come in, and really take his game to the next level. The feel to hit is some of the best in the class. He rarely strikes out, and has the approach to drive balls in the left center gap, and when he is given his pitch he shows off the power to the pull side. He will be one to keep an eye on as he will be in a starting position as a sophomore for Lambert.

Trevor Condon, Outfielder

Height: 5-foot-10

Weight: 170-pounds

High School: Etowah

Commitment: Miami

+ With premium athleticism and twitch, Condon has the profile to be one of the best players in the state. Staying power in centerfield with impressive range and foot speed to make every play. Excellent bat-to-ball skills from the left side with present gap power that plays way up with his above-average speed. Condon will be a catalyst for an Etowah squad that’s loaded with excellent underclassmen.

William Myhand, Outfielder

Height: 6-foot-1

Weight: 185-pounds

High School: Mill Creek

Commitment: Uncommitted

+ Myhand has a real chance to grow into some of the best power in the state. A thunderous barrel with tons of lag through the zone allows the sophomore to stay on-plane consistently while creating plenty of carry to all-fields. Myhand profiles in either corner outfield role where the bat will thrive, and looks poised to be a huge asset for Mill Creek in 2024.

David Ojeda, Outfielder

Height: 6-foot-1

Weight: 185-pounds

High School: Flowery Branch

Commitment: Uncommitted

+ “Javi” is a fantastic example of a power/speed combo in the 2026 class that showed up throughout the Fall at Lakepoint. With easy bat speed from the left-side, O’jeda creates leverage with ease that leads to pull-side pop that consistently shows well in-game. Flashes 70 grade run times home-to-1st with an excellent first step that also plays well in centerfield. Already an impact player as a freshman for Flowery Branch in 2023, O’jeda looks primed for a huge spring going into 2024.

Matthew Kerrigan, Outfielder

Height: 6-foot-1

Weight: 170-pounds

High School: Lowndes

Commitment: Auburn

+ Kerrigan has been a stapled name in the top 20 since the original ‘26 rankings as an incoming freshman. The two time Junior Future Gamer and Auburn commit is one of the top 2-way prospects in the state. With the added size and strength we could see a big jump in power at the plate for Kerrigan this spring. Coming off a strong freshman year at Valwood Prep, Kerrigan will look to help Lowndes defend their state title both at the plate and on the mound.

Geno Goralski, Outfielder

Height: 5-foot-10

Weight: 170-pounds

High School: Denmark

Commitment: Uncommitted

+ Goralski made his appearance last spring as a freshman, and earned valuable playing time in a tough Denmark line up. The numbers he put up this summer at Top Prospect Games were impressive, and will surely be improved on in a few short weeks at Preseason All-State. He has a real chance to have a breakout spring and summer during a pivotal recruiting period.

Wessley Roberson, Outfielder

Height: 6-foot-1

Weight:
165-pounds

High School: Glynn Academy

Commitment: Uncommitted

+ Roberson has the chance to be one of the top outfielders in the state when the spring season comes to a close. The swing from the left side is one of the smoothest in the class. He will be one that we will make the trip down to Glynn Academy to get an early look. The arm strength is only going to get stronger, and we could see him come into some more power by the time next summer rolls around.
