We proudly present Team Midwest's powerhouse roster for the 2023 Future Games. Comprising 22 exceptional players from the heartland of America, this dynamic team accurately represents talent from four states - Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota.

Leading the charge for Team Midwest are the eight formidable Minnesota players, seven exceptional athletes from Nebraska, three outstanding players who represent the great state of Iowa, and, last but not least, the two talented players from South Dakota who round out this exceptional roster, showcasing the diversity and depth of talent from this region.

Team Midwest is ready to leave an indelible mark on the Future Games, fueled by their passion and ambition to shine nationally.

2023 TEAM MIDWEST FUTURE GAMES ROSTER

CONOR BOOTH

OF / C / WAHOO / BN / LL, NE / 2025

Conor is an athletic two-sport (football) athlete with a strong build with tools to play at a high level. His 6.69 60-time allows him to cover ground in the outfield. A 98.6 exit velo and lift in his swing at the plate will enable him to produce power to both gaps. He throws 79 velo from behind the dish with a 1.97-2.00 pop time which could give him a chance behind the plate as another option at the next level. - Pascal Paul

NICK BOWRON

C / 1B / ROCHESTER LOURDES, MN / 2025

Bowron has upside as an elite catcher, combined with intriguing arm strength on the mound. The bat plays with a power approach and is mid to upper 80s on the mound. Bowron could be a recruit at either position. - Andy Judkins

 

JACKSON DIAL

RHP / 3B / RAPID CITY STEVENS (SD), SD / 2025

The South Dakota product's frame and easy movements on the mound are attractive attributes. The arm works exceptionally well, producing mid-upper 80's velocity with high spin metrics and the breaking ball. - Andy Judkins

 

BLAKE ECKERLE

C / SS / WHITE BEAR LAKE, MN / 2025

Eckerle is a left-handed hitting catcher that stands out behind the plate with above ability to receive, mobility, and simple catch-and-throw skills. A contact-type bat that has produced at a high level this summer and should continue to gain momentum offensively with physical maturity and strength gains. - Andy Judkins

 

ETHAN FELLING

LHP / OF / MAHTOMEDI, MN / 2025

A unique left-handed arm who has made significant strides over the last 12 months. An above-average frame with athletic arm action, working the fastball into the upper 80s. Felling is projectable at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, and will attract significant college interest. - Andy Judkins

 

 

BRADY FERGUSON

RHP / 3B / MILLARD WEST, NE / 2025

Brady is a 6-2 190-pound right-handed pitcher from one of the best programs in the state, Millard West. He will run his FB up to 90-91 with heavy run and sink. The changeup mimics the fastball, and he can kill spin well. The slider has short break and flashes as a future strikeout pitch. - Pascal Paul

 

 

NIKOLA FRENCH

C / SS / OMAHA WESTSIDE, NE / 2025

Nikola is a versatile athlete behind the plate with high-end tools. Raw arm strength is above average, with the ability to do damage from the right-handed batter's box. He's more of a "player" than a "showcase guy," as he has been exceptional in-game action and will show well in this type of event. - Pascal Paul

 

NOAH GARTNER

RHP / OF / MILLARD SOUTH, NE / 2025

Late blooming right-handed arm. Noah has strength in his frame, and the fastball has pop out of his hand. He will run it up to 92 with late, short run. Off-speed plays of fastball well with depth and deceptive arm speed. - Pascal Paul

 

TAITN GRAY

OF / C / DALLAS CENTER-GRIMES , IA / 2025

Gray is athletic and versatile across the field, showing the ability to play numerous positions at a higher level. His carrying tool, though, is his offensive ability. The rising 2025 grad shows offensive production with power potential from both sides of the plate and projects well physically at the college level. - Rob Allison

 

 

NOAH HAHN

3B / SS / NEW LIFE ACADEMY, MN / 2025

Hahn is a middle infielder who has blossomed in the past six months. Hahn, at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, can play all three positions in the infield. A nice balance of contact, physical in the box, and arm strength with sure hands in the field. - Andy Judkins

 

 

COLLIN HECKMAN

RHP / OF / BURNSVILLE, MN / 2025

Heckman is one of the more projectable arms in Minnesota's 2025 class. Heckman has room to add strength to his 6'4 frame. Fastball sits 86-89 mph and has been as high as 90 mph this summer. With a feel for three pitches in the zone, Heckman possesses solid current pitchability with higher-end projection. - Andy Judkins

 

OLIVER LINDSTROM

LHP / MINNEAPOLIS SOUTH, MN / 2025

A 6-foot-2, long and lanky left-handed arm that has continued to trend upwards over the last few years. A low to mid-80s fastball, the arm path is loose and whippy, with current feel for three pitches in the zone. Arm works extremely well, and his frame projects to add significant velocity in the future. - Andy Judkins

 

 

OWEN MARSOLEK

LHP / OF / DULUTH MARSHALL, MN / 2025

Marsolek, PBR Jr. Future Games alum, has continued to develop and make strides. LHP with a high spin mid-80s fastball. He has above-average pitchability with a quality three-pitch mix and is aggressive and competitive on mound. - Andy Judkins

 

JACOB MONGAR

RHP / 2B / SIOUX FALLS ROOSEVELT (SD), SD / 2025

Upper-level athleticism across the field. Mongar has run a 6.8 runner, mid 80's arm strength across the infield, and shows bat speed and power offensively. The 2-way South Dakota product also showcases a 2-3 pitch mix on the mound, producing upper 80's velocity. - Andy Judkins

 

GRIFFIN NOVACEK

OF / RHP / KEARNEY, NE / 2025

Physical left-handed bat. Griffin has a clean, fluid bat path, his strength is evident, and his backspins baseballs exceptionally well, producing effortless pull-side power. He has a high level of athleticism for his size (6-4, 210), 6.86 60, and an 86 velo from the OF, allowing him to move back and forth from outfield to first base. - Pascal Paul

 

WILLIAM NUSS

3B / RHP / JOHNSTON, IA / 2025

Nuss has started since his freshman year for Iowa's perennial power: Johnston High School; he was the school's starting QB this year as a sophomore. He is athletic in the field with soft hands, above-average mobility, and arm plays well with accuracy and above-average carry across the infield. He has strength in his swing and quality bat speed, producing at a high level this summer with seven home runs. - Rob Allison

 

EAMON O'GORMAN

3B / SS / ELKHORN SOUTH, NE / 2025

Eamon is a physical 6'2, 195-pound third baseman that hits left-handed. He has a presence when he steps into the box, does damage with his barrel, and looks and feels like a hitter. Feet work at third base with hands that play well. 6.69 60 with more room to grow physically suggest a bright future ahead. - Pascal Paul

 

 

TROY PELTZ

OF / 1B / LINCOLN EAST , NE / 2025

Troy comes from the State Championship Lincoln East program. He plays the game extremely hard with tools that play at the next level. He possesses a 98.4 exit velo that showcases power to both gaps. With his combination of 90 mph arm and 6.69 60- he is a well-rounded athlete defensively and offensively. - Pascal Paul

GRANT SORENSEN

SS / RHP / WAUKEE, IA / 2025

Sorensen was a Day One starter at shortstop this year for Waukee High School. The sophomore is an above-average defender in the middle with athleticism, an above-average arm, fluid actions, and soft hands to field. Offensively, the swing is simple and repeatable, and Sorensen will continue to develop with future strength gains. - Rob Allison

TATEM TELFER

LHP / 1B / CARDINAL, IA / 2025

Sturdy 6-1, 190-pound build. The left-handed pitcher from Cardinal High School in Iowa peaked this past year at 90 mph. The fastball has significant life from a steeper angle and sometimes flashes a breaking ball with above-average depth. - Rob Allison

 

HUNTER VADEER

OF / RHP / LYLE , MN / 2025

Higher end athlete on the roster. An OF/RHP that could be a 2-way talent at the next level. Vadeer has good size and tools that translate into the ability to play at a high level. The fastball has been up to 92 mph, and he has an interesting offensive skill set of power and speed. Vadeer helped lead his team to the high school state title game this year. - Andy Judkins

 

DANNY WALLACE

OF / RHP / PAPILLION LAVISTA SOUTH, NE / 2025

Danny has been the top player in the 2025 class since our initial rankings dropped. Danny possesses high-end two-way talent. He produces and plays better in the field than his showcase numbers: 101.4 exit, 6.65 60, and 93 OF velo. He covers ground in center and has some juice out of his 5'11, 185-pound frame. On the mound, Danny competes in the zone with an upper 80s fastball with some late life, a slider with a sharp break, and the ability to kill spin and create some depth on his change. - Pascal Paul
