With the year coming to an end, our staff is taking some time to highlight and reflect on the most viewed profiles in Missouri throughout 2023. We’ll be counting down to the top spot, starting with No. 10 earlier in the week working our way down, releasing the most viewed name prior to the end of the year.

Our profiles serve as an all-in-one platform for players, hosting vendors such as verified stats, event video, contact information, and more. To create a free PBR profile, click HERE.

We've already released three stories, which you can find here:

+ No. 2 Anson Seibert
+ No. 3 Cole Pladson
+ No. 4 Keaton Neal
+ No. 5 Deacon Pomeroy
+ No. 6 Jack Jones
+ No. 7 Colton Sims
+ No. 8 Grady Westphal
+ No. 9 Whit Rhodes
+ No. 10 Jack Schwab

Today we’ll unveil the profile that saw the most views in the state this year, 3B/RHP Beau Peterson (Mill Valley, 2026; Nebraska commit).

Peterson’s physicality can’t be oversold - he holds an exceptional amount of present strength at 6-foot-3, 200-pounds, though he’s still plenty capable of adding on more muscle mass as he continues to mature. Peterson put that strength on display at the MOKAN Preseason All-State in February, emerging from the invite-only event as the top prospect in attendance amongst a loaded field.

From 2/17/23: “...is one of the highest ranked KS prospects in recent history at 7th in the country. The Nebraska commit showed why he is ranked that high putting up some of the best metrics on the mound. The right-hander worked up to 90.4 with elite avg spin metrics of 2315 on his FB and 2584 and 2692 on his CB and SL respectively. Offensively, the left-handed hitter produced a max exit velocity of 91.8 and average of 87.2. Defensively, Peterson showed confident actions at 3B with clean hands and feet and an infield velocity of 90 mph.”

(2/12/23)

We saw a brief glimpse of Peterson’s excellence on both sides of the ball that day. He showed a fast, intentful, and polished left-handed swing with noticeable strength, while also bumping his heater up to 90 mph and ripping off multiple swing-and-miss breaking balls. Those talents translate to the diamond, where he also showed well during the spring season, as well as at the National Program Invitational at LakePoint.

A top-15 prospect in the country for the 2026 class, Peterson’s ability to impact the game in multiple ways has already proven itself fruitful in his young high school career. He’s a true middle-of-the-order type left-handed hitter that doubles as a must-follow prospect on the mound with dynamic stuff.
