Prep Baseball Report has officially updated their class rankings over the span of three weeks, updating the Class of 2024, 2025 and 2026 in their respective states. Our staff will now conduct a deep dive into the rankings and highlight key uncommitted players in each class.
Today, we take a look into the MD/DE Class of 2026 and dive into a highly athletic two-way in Vincent Evans (Seaford) that climbs inside the Top 25 for the first time. Possessing a wiry, proportionally strong frame, Evans features some of the top athletisicm in the class and continues to make eye-opening strides in what was a breakout Summer/Fall. On the bump, the southpaw works with controlled intent, mixing the fastball/curveball mix well with consistent feel for the fastball to the arm side. Running the fastball into the low 80's, Evans showcases the ability to change eye levels and create whiffs in the zone, while keeping hitters off balance with a gradulal 1/7 shaped breaker. As the frame continues to fill, and the feel for the offspeed improves, look for the pitchability to increase immensely. The offense is what really stood out this offseason, showcasing quick, fluid hands with a consistent ability to spray hard line drives to all fields. It's a short, quick stroke with moxie and confidence at the dish, creating some whip in the barrel with the ability to produce occasional backspin the both gaps and alleys. A two-way that will continue to blossom as strength and muscle mass is added.

Already with two hits in the game, the rising sophomore takes the mound in the fifth. Mainly FB, changing eye levels. Keep an eye ?
