Ontario Insider: Tournament 12 - Futures Team Preview
This week, Tournament 12 begins with Canadian talent from coast to coast, all playing where the big leaguers do, down at the Rogers Centre on Blue Jays Way Blvd.
This is a great opportunity to see players from the entire country, compete in one setting for five days, and gives a great look to pro scouts and college evaluators.
PBR Ontario will be there to report on all the happenings with the top talent in Ontario, along with Canada, all under one roof.
Today we take a look at the Futures team, with 75% of the roster being made up with players from Ontario while all are uncommitted and either 2018 or 2019 grads.
We take a look positionally at the Ontario representatives that will make up this year’s Futures team.
Catchers
All three catchers are from Ontario on the Futures team with the likes of Ryan Faragher (pictured right), Ian Jordan, and Owed Diodati, all 2018 grads that are uncommitted.
