Inside the Overall Rankings: Texas 2022

Taking a look inside the Overall 2022 Rankings, it became obvious that this Texas class was going to have a strong impact on the national rankings. Texas had the biggest influence on the national rankings with 32 players in the top 250, with the next closest being California with 28.
Leading the way is No. 17 Texas recruit Rylan Galvan, who takes over the No. 1 spot for Texas after a very impressive performance at the Texas Limited Series. Texas A&M recruit Cade Climie jumps 60 spots to No. 29, showed strongly at the South Texas Underclass Trials. Coming in at No. 33 is SS Anthony Silva who put on a show at the PBR Future Games, and later committed to Texas Christian. Jett Williams another Texas A&M recruit who made his way into the rankings at No. 46 after a notable performance at the North Texas Underclass Trials. At No. 54 is uncommitted 3B Jayson Jones, who is one of the top rising power bats in the state. Texas A&M recruit Chase Davis checks in at No. 62, Davis put on a very solid performance at the National Program Invitational at Lakepoint. Xavier Perez who hails from a very respectable Veterans Memorial club comes in at No. 67. Alabama recruit Max Belyeu is another member of Team Texas who was a standout at the PBR Future Games, makes his way into the rankings at No. 91.
