UNCOMMITTED SPOTLIGHT

2025 POWER BATS

Cody Agidius 1B / The Dalles, OR / 2025

Extra strong frame at 6-foot-4, 220 lbs. Built like a NFL tight end. Frame has proportional build and there’s present strength in the lower half. Offensively hits with a unique set up where he begins with a wide, spread base then shortens up lower half prior to contact. Maintains leverage at landing and stays very tall, creating consistent leverage. Uses a push back load with the hands with slight arm bar. Powerful rotational athlete. Moves the barrel with aggression and creates big bat speed numbers and power output. Defensively handled 1B with steady, deliberate tempo and consistent actions around the bag. Presents a large catch radius and showed some range with the glove hand. Shorter, more compact arm action with high ¾ release.

Ian Kolmer OF / RHP / Ida B Wells, OR / 2025

6-foot-1, 185 lbs with strong, sturdy frame and powerful levers. Sets up with a tall, neutral posture and some weight shifted onto backside. Low, relaxed hands start tight to core. Gathers with a subtle leg lift and creates stretch through core with a controlled scap load. Sits into back hip and stays stacked into footstrike. Quick, aggressive bat speed with short, compact upper half. Easy rotation with a tight move to the ball. Slightly uphill path which bodes well for current and future power. Consistent lift. Strong lead leg block with leverage. Impacts the ball easily with controlled effort. Defensively moves well for size and is quality runner with powerful strides. Actions play well in the OF. Easy transition into throwing motion with a tight arm action and high over the top release. Above average arm strength up to 88 mph. Overall, very strong profile for a power hitting OF prospect with tools across the board.

Miles Ott RHP / OF / Tigard, OR / 2025

Strong build through, carries strength well. Slightly open set-up in the box with an upright stance. Weight centered to begin then uses a slight gather as he takes a low leg lift into forward stride. Quiet head throughout. Hands push back just beyond rear shoulder and stay loaded into foot strike. Moves well from the ground up and generates consistent separation. Quick, powerful bat speed with loose barrel action into the zone. High, lofted one-hand finish with rotation and extension against front side. Big lift when he catches the ball out front. Defensively looked crisp in the OF with clean, repeatable actions and quality footwork around the ball. Stays in rhythm when coming through the play then gets into a side shuffle for momentum behind the throw. High ¾ release with loose arm action. Up to 83 mph from the OF.
