Top Prospects (Part 3)
ZACHARY WILLIAMSSS / 2B / COLLEGE STATION, TX / 2019Rankings StateRank: 165 / POS: 41
Athletic 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame. Williams flashed some leather during the infield session by making plays on the run with quickness and fluidity, flashed soft hands with a good backhand, and showed off his 88 mph arm strength with carry and accuracy. The right-hander hits from an open stance, has a leg lift that works diagonally back to parallel, leaves his hands back to create separation during his stride, has strong lower half actions in his swing, and loose hands that are rhythmic and quick throughout the swing. He has a level swing plane with extension through the middle of the field, hit balls off the barrel into both gaps, and pounded 89 mph exit velo off the tee. Ran a 7.49 laser-timed 60. /var/www/html/login/modules/Playerss/shortcodes.json not found

JOEY CRISCIC / RHP / ALLEN, TX / 2019Rankings StateRank: 167 / POS: 20
6-foot, 185-pound frame with strength throughout. In BP, he hit balls off the barrel to the pullside and posted 84 mph exit velo off the tee. The right-hander has an athletic stance, has his hands set up high, takes a leg kick to generate weight shift, drops his hands back slightly in his load, has strong drive in his lower half, and looks to do damage to the pull side in his aggressive swing. Crisci had pop times ranging from 1.92-2.13 showing quick footwork, a clean exchange, backspin carry, and arm strength (76 mph). Crisci has fundamental footwork behind the plate, he stays low throughout the throw, and his solid base allowed him to make strong throws to second base. /var/www/html/login/modules/Playerss/shortcodes.json not found
