Prep Baseball NE Preseason All-State: Event Preview

Council Bluffs, Iowa - On Sunday, February 25th, Prep Baseball travels to Iowa Western’s Marshall Wellness Center to host the Prep Baseball Nebraska All-State event. This invite-only event will feature over 160 prospects from the class of 2024 through 2027s, including 104 ranked players. This collection of players will include plenty of fresh faces as well as returning faces.
EVENT HISTORY
Last year's All-State saw over 150 players come through the doors of Marshall Wellness Center with multiple notable performances.
Danny Wallace (Papillion LaVista South, OF/RHP, 2025) was one of the top performers from last year's Preseason All-State Event. Danny's numbers (6.65 - 60, 93 - OF, 101.4 - exit velo, 88 fastball velo) across the board, were at the top of the event. Eventually, accepting a Futures Games invite for his performance, where he earned Futures Games MVP and committed to Oklahoma State University.
Garrett Springer (Lincoln East, C/1B, 2024) entered the Preseason All-State event last year as a top-ranked, uncommitted player in the 2024 class. In the event, he posted a 102.2 exit velo, 78 C Velo, and a 1.95-2.06 pop time spring, boarding him into an ultra-productive spring with the State Champion Lincoln East Spartans and committing to Missouri State.
