We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England Scout Day: Legion. This was a great opportunity for 2024-2027 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories.

2023 Scout Day: Legion - Quick Hits

  • Sullivan Quirk, 2024- A left-handed pitcher, pounded the zone with a 3 pitch mix, the breaking ball was late with break to it. The fastball reached 79 mph, located it to both sides.
  • Sam Balducci, 2025- A left-handed hitter, line drive pop to both gaps, super aggressive, on the plate with coverage. Clean actions in infield, average runner. Bat will play.
  • Brayden Edwards, 2026- A left-handed hitter, plus pop to gaps, ran a 7.19 and threw 84 mph from outfield. Shows good tools, competes at everything. Off the mound up to 80 mph, showed feel for the breaking ball.
  • Jack Fischer, 2027- A right-handed hitter, showed well on both sides of the field, loose hands at the plate, with an advanced feel for hitting. Smooth off the mound, arm really works, look for big things from this one.
  • Jacob Gombotz, 2025- A right-handed hitting catcher, showed arm strength behind the plate at 72 mph, pop time of 2.0/2.2. Swung the bat well in batting practice.
  • Sean Habeeb, 2024- A right-handed hitter, a toolsy athlete, ran a 6.82, threw 84 mph across the diamond. The swing is electric at times, the game will play at the next level.
  • Jack McCoy, 2025- A right-handed hitter, took a solid round of batting practice, driving the baseball with authority to both gaps.
  • Connor Michaelson, 2025- A right-handed hitter, an athlete, ran a 6.97 sixty-yard dash, good arm from outfield at 81 mph, with easy pop at the plate.
  • Cooper Saunders, 2027- A right-handed hitter, ran well for a 2027, 7.16 sixty-yard dash. Threw 77 mph from the outfield. Took a solid round of batting practice.
  • Arlen Peyman, 2027- A right-handed hitter, put on a show in batting practice, driving the baseball all over the yard with authority. The exit velocity was clocked at 93 mph. Moves well for a bigger player.
