Illinois Rising Stars Games: Preview

Wisconsin/Illinois Staff

This upcoming Tuesday, May 21, the Prep Baseball Illinois team is hosting the Illinois Rising Stars Games at Triton JC in River Grove, Illinois. This is an open event for all those in the class of 2028 and class of 2029, serving as an early opportunity to experience a showcase and be seen by PBR staff.

The event will also be used to identify invitations for the invite-only Junior Future Games in July, which run in conjunction with PBR’s prestigious Future Games. The Future Games Event, an annual event featuring players entering their junior and senior years, is among the most scouted events in the country, attracting more than 300 college coaches each year.

EVENT CHECK-IN PROCESS

Because of the high number of prospects set to attend Tuesday’s event, it is imperative that you read our adjusted showcase itinerary below, which will allow our staff to swiftly and efficiently educate and evaluate the players set to attend.

Additionally, in an effort to continue and develop contactless check-in strategies, upon arrival, players will scan a QR Code with their smartphone camera that will lead them to a Google Form. On that Form, players will enter their name (matching the spelling on their PBR profile) and submit. Upon submission, players will be prompted to click a link that will direct them to their jersey color and number, located next to their registered name.
