Matthew Wolfe SS / RHP / Olentangy Orange, OH / 2022Report: One of those players that it is so hard to stop watching throughout a game. Right from the start, he caught my attention batting at the top of the lineup for a very talented Bo Jackson Elite squad. The swing from the right side is quite impressive to accompany a ton of speed. On this day was able to reach base safely three times while showing a willingness to stay within and wait for a hittable pitch but also attack early in the count. Currently the 6-foot-1, 160-pound Wolfe already has a quick bat with plenty of room to maturity physically. Defensively, he might even be more impressive as a prospect where the athleticism leads to confidence in the glove at shortstop. More than enough arm for the position which should allow him to stick there moving forward in this career. |
