Graham MacNeil 3B / RHP / Brooklin , ON / 2020

Report: A 2020 two-way player, MacNeil showed promise both on the bump and with the bat. Good present strength with a big lower half and room to continue to fill out and add muscle as he continues to physically mature.

Getting the start on Friday, MacNeil worked from an easy, low effort, and repeatable high-3/4 delivery. Arm action gets long in the back, but shows good present arm strength and speed. Was able to spot his fastball on both side of the plate and sat 78-82 mph through four-plus innings of work. Fastball looks flat at times, but for the most part shows some action to his arm side. Showed feel for curveball, which had good downward depth and an 11/5 shape.

Over at the plate, the power tool is advanced for his age. MacNeil drilled an opposite-field double on Sunday, providing the Finals-winning RBI for the Toronto Mets. Similar to his actions on the mound, MacNeil makes things look easy at the plate. Generates good bat speed from the right side. Some moving parts at the plate, uses a leg kick to begin his load, and when he times the pitcher up, he is able to find the barrel and make loud contact.

Overall a very promising player who is a lot of fun to watch both on the mound as well as in the box.
