Over the past four days our staff has highlighted new faces to the rankings, risers, as well as a Top 25 release and a Top 75 release.

Today we want to highlight fifty players from across the Commonwealth and DC that are in strong consideration for rankings. In future updates, it is very likely that some of these names move their way into the ranks. Watch out for these players as they continue to develop and make gains.

In addition to the list below, we would like to highlight and provide some notes on a few of these players.

'26 Corbin Dean had a few standout performances this summer, but none bigger than his week at the 15U Summer Championships in July. Capable and consistent defender in the middle, contact bat that uses the whole field and flashes some doubles power. The Dinwiddie HS infielder does not possess loud tools and the footspeed will need to increase in order to stay at short, but he plays the game. He has some feel for the barrel, adjusts in counts, defends, and competes wherever he is on the field.

Loud tools, ceiling, and projection are three things that stand out with Northside outfielder, Aries Oliver. 6-foot-3, 185-pounds with visible strength throughout. Sub seven runner on a bit of a slower track, physical offensive piece with high end bat speed, and raw power present. Plenty of polish left to add and ceiling left for this athletic outfielder.

Connor Musick (Honaker) is a high motor outfielder with the solid bat to ball and the tools continue to progress. Corner outfield profile with doubles power to all fields. Wider base at the plate with quick hands and stays inside at contact. Average to slightly above average arm strength from the outfield and should continue to progress with added strength.

Salem (Roanoke) infielder Brayden White was a bright spot as a freshman on the Spartans varsity team. Switch hitting infielder with an above average run tool and produces some loud barrels at the plate. Whippy barrel, uphill path, and above average bat and hand speed. Defensively the arm is slightly above average and White attacks through the catch. Shows some tools to allow him to stay in the dirt and should be an integral part of the Salem lineup going forward.
