Area Scout Alex Ross was on the trail last week. Ranging from the Seattle area down to Keizer, OR and Eugene, OR to take in the 6A/5A State Championships. 

While on the road, he was able to get eyes on some of the top players in the '24 class and a big time athlete in the 2025 class

‘24 RHP Tyler Jones (Woodinville)
Very athletic right hander with a projectable body and arm. Has a lean and athletic look with strong shoulders and room to fill. Pitches off instinct with an out and over delivery and high release. Fastball has some kick to it and works 87-91 with most in the upper 80’s. Best present secondary is his hard over the top curve, showing good depth at times. Curve has a chance to miss bats and expect improvements as he cleans up mechanically, learning to repeat his actions. Far from finished product with upside on the mound.
