Over the past four days our staff has highlighted new faces to the rankings, risers, players whose stock has soared this summer, as well as a Top 50 release and a Top 200 release.

Today we want to highlight fifty players from across the Commonwealth and DC that are in strong consideration for rankings. In future updates, it is very likely that some of these names move their way into the ranks. Watch out for these players as they continue to develop and make gains.

In addition to the list below, we would like to highlight and provide some notes on a few of these players.

Hunter Langston is a 5-foot-10, 185-pound corner infielder and pitcher. At the plate there is controlled intent in the swing with a short level path. Mostly gap to gap with some doubles power. Solid defender at third with slightly above average arm strength. Doesn't possess overpowering stuff on the mound, but competes in the zone and works with confidence. The Greenbrier Christian product threw a huge semifinal game for 5-Star this summer versus a very strong Canes American team.

Danny Kilgore is just another quality Hanover product. While there is some versatility and two-way ability, Kilgore has jumped out the most on the mound. Strike thrower, works with pace and confidence, and competes in the zone. Low 80's fastball that has some occasional cut to it and has shown ability to throw two secondary pitches for strikes. Has some pitchability and is just waiting for a little velo jump and for secondary to continue to develop.

Carter Lenz (Spotswood) is a '25 that we tried to get out and see this spring, but didn't have any luck. Lanky 6-foot frame with room to add strength. Got a chance to see Lenz this summer at Top Prospect Games and left fairly impressed. Made a small velo jump on the mound and has plenty of raw arm strength with room to add some more velo. Low to mid 80's arm that got up to 86 that day and has up to a foot of arm side run to the pitch. Spin is still developing, but did show some feel for a nice changeup with almost eighteen inches of run. Plenty of arm strength in the outfield, doesn't get cheated at the plate, and more corner profile, but on the mound is where the value lies for now.
