Rankings Insider: 2021 Shortstops

With the recent release of our Updated Class of 2021 AZ Player Rankings, our scouting staff took a deeper dive into the prospects in the 2021 class. By position, we will start to comb through the lists, highlighting some of the top talent in each class, and today we continue with some of the top uncommitted shortstops in the class. 

The updated rankings features a total of 32 shortstops in the top 142. Currently, there are 8 players in the rankings that have seen time at shortstop that are committed to DI schools. This list includes Wes Kath (Arizona State), Barrett Skaugrud (Arizona State), Chase Valentine(Texas A&M), Teagan Carey (Oregon) that are ranked in the Top 10.
