Colby Shade, OF, Fort Collins HS, 2020
Committed to Virginia. Ranked No. 2 Colorado's 2020 rankings, No. 168 overall. Playing for Slammers, Shade put on a show in Sunday’s action. Hitting leadoff in the game he went 3-3 with 2 triples and 1 infield single with a 4.09 home to first time. He added 2 stolen bases and scored 3 runs. Shade hits with a whole field approach at the plate, aggressive early in the count. Handles the inside pitch well, one triple came on a fast ball in that was ripped hard off the left field fence. Recently ran a 6.6 60 time at the Top Prospect Games.
