OUTLOOK

Coach Bocock: "This season's SCS Blazer baseball team will feature youth prospects led by experienced upperclassmen. A nice mix of older and younger players gives the blazers their best shot at a district title in years. This year's team will return all 9 starters and the top 2 pitchers from 2023. Captain Randall Collins will call the signs behind the dish and will move into the closer role this spring. Alex Hefti will hold down the infield at shortstop and will bolster the bullpen. Along with the defense, Justin Brock and Collin Lawson will make up the 1-2 sophomore punch on the mound for the Blazers. Offensively the Blazers will have to find the right mix but will feature Freshman phenom Evan Poznanski in the heart of the order. With all starters back in 2024, goals for the Blazers are large. The school will look to compete for a shot at a district crown in one of the toughest districts in the state."
