The 2024 Georgia high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Georgia.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in mid-May inside one of Coolray Field, AdventHealth Stadium, or JI Clements Stadium at Georgia Southern University. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Georgia. TEAM OUTLOOK

Norcross will be buoyed by a strong pitching staff going into 2024 that’s led by recent Augusta University commit RHP Sam Choate. Uncommitted junior Bryson Bizzell, who made big jumps this past summer and senior RHP Joseph Mendoza will round out a strong rotation, with sophomore RHP Tristan Alvarez being a catalyst in the bullpen. Andrew Bernard will pace the offense and has a chance to be one of the better infielders in the region this upcoming spring. Carter Cocks and Daniel Issacson can give the blue devils a solid three-headed monster, with underclassman Cameron Coll and Will Thiry looking to carve even bigger roles and strengthen this lineup even further. In a tough region that features teams like North Gwinnett and Peachtree Ridge, Norcross has the upside to finish atop Region 7-7A.
