PBR UNCOMMITTED SPOTLIGHT

 

 

PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you? 
 

Anderson: NDSU, Minot State University, Jamestown, Garden City CC, Lincoln Trail, U of Mary, Iowa Lakes CC, North State, Dominican University, and Williston State University have shown interest in me.
 

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?

Anderson:  I plan to visit Jamestown in a week or two, and Minot on the 22nd of September. I plan to visit others, just haven’t gotten a date set yet.
 

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)  

Anderson: Looking for a good business school, with a good baseball program. Maybe not too far from home, but it depends on what college it is.
 

PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?

Anderson:  For Fargo North High I went 4-1 with a 1.22 ERA over 40.0 innings. Then for Fargo Legion Post 2 I got Rookie of the Year and Batting Champ and I was a close second in the MVP and Cy Young race. I batted .405 with with 45 RBI and 4 HR in 39 games. I went 8-1 with a 0.98 ERA and 68 K’s over 56.2 innings on the mound. I also threw my first ever perfect game in my last appearance of the regular season.
 

PBR: What are your goals for this year?

Anderson:  My goal this year is to work extremely hard and get myself into the mid-low 90’s hopefully
 

PBR: Do you play any other sports?

Anderson:  I played basketball up until sophomore year, but now I only play baseball.
 

PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?

Anderson: My ACT is a 22 and my cumulative GPA is 3.83
