"After touring the campus, talking with Coach Ische, and meeting many current players on SMSU's roster, I realized that Marshall was the right place for me. Also, impacting the program immediately is very important to me. I chose SMSU because I can improve as a pitcher and a person when working with Coach Ische, and I love the team chemistry that the Mustangs have. Having been in Marshall before, I love the feel of the town. I also love the support the Mustangs receive from the town of Marshall. Marshall is a town I can really see myself loving to live in. The Mustang community will enable me to excel not just as an athlete but also as a student. Every time I met with players or coaches at SMSU, it was easy to envision myself spending four years as a Mustang."
