As we prepare for the upcoming 2024 High School season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at the potential Player of the Year candidates.

Paul Jones II 1B / Cretin-Derham Hall, MN / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 11 / POS: 1 University of Maryland commit. Jones will look to lead the Raiders again this season both on the mound and in the box. The Maryland commit threw just 13.1 innings a season ago but will need to take on a more significant role with the staff this spring. Most of the damage took place at the plate. In 77 at-bats, Jones marked a .416/.550/.1.290, with 32 hits, seven doubles, and six home runs. Can Jones and the Raiders take down East Ridge in a tough section?
