NC: In a Classic, Country Day Over Christ School in Extras

In a 2nd Round Game of the NCISAA 3A State Tournament, Charlotte Country Day hosted Christ School. A well played game saw Country Day score in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs to extend the game to extras. In the 9th, a bases loaded hit-by-pitch would give the Bucs the win.
Christ School’s Hunter Macomber and Country Day’s Tyler Rigot each worked three innings of scoreless baseball. In the bottom of the 3rd Macomber got some defensive help as Country Day tried to score a runner from 1B on a double off the bat of Country Day’s John Hosmer.
