New England Insider: Uncommitted Underclass Spotlight - Connor Lorenz

Scouting Report: Right-handed hitting outfielder who is a good athlete, ran a 6.91 with ease at the event. In the outfield, his approach to the ball is proper and he showed a quality arm, throwing 77 mph with carry from the outfield. The bat had a tee exit velocity of 75 mph. The setup starts with his feet close and he dives into the swing. The backside has a bit of collapse to it with doesn't allow him to stay above the ball. Would like to see him loosen up his hands and let them work a bit more. He is such a good athlete, he should be able to make adjustments with his swing rather easily. Hard to ignore, he has tools.
