Portsmouth vs Keene 5.23.19

Alex Meesig RHP / SS / Nashua North, NH / 2021

Report: Meesig is a crafty RHP that did a great job getting ahead of batters by establishing his fastball and working ahead of hitters. FB sat 80-82 and flashed a CB sitting at 66-68 and a SL sitting 67-69. Projectable ¾ arm that will be an interesting follow if he develops a CH to compliment his FB and breaking pitches.

Wachusett vs Leominster 5.20.19

Patrick Gallagher RHP / 2B / Leominster, MA / 2019

Report: The UConn commit took the short end of the stick against Leominster on Monday. He allowed only 1 run on 2 H and struck out 9 in the process. He’s got electric stuff, FB sits 86-89 and his breaking ball is tight at 75-77. Has a changeup that is 77-79 but prefers the breaking ball as it really makes kids knees buckle. The breaking ball comes out of the same arm slot as the fastball. Also can swing it from the left side, accounted for his teams only hit which was a double down the line in the first inning. Kid will definitely be successful at the next level.
