Timely Spulnick delivered for North Country

It’s a staple in any solid batting order: a gap-hitting run producer. Michael Spulnick(2017) was just that for his team from the North Country region in Prep Baseball Report’s 2016 New York State Games.
Spulnick, a rising senior from Shenendehowa High School, hit third for North Country while in the lineup and came up with timely hits to drive in the base runners ahead of him.
“It was great,” he said in praise of his teammates’ ability to reach base. “All the guys got on base for me and they all got in scoring position and I just tried to hit the ball up the middle and get a hit for my team.”
