With 2023 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2024. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2024 Spring Team Preview: Princeton Vikings

Team Name: Princeton Vikings
Head Coach: Gino McGowens
Division: I
2023 Record: 15-14
2023 Tourney Finish: District Semifinals loss to Archbishop Moeller
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4/3

Coach Outlook: "The 2024 team will be young with possibly (5) sophomore starters. Our team will be built around our speed, athletic ability and defense. We lost 150 innings to graduation and only returned pitchers that threw 37 innings from last year. Our pitching staff will need to step up to compete in the GMC, one of the best conferences in the state. This team put in the time and effort in the weight room over the fall and winter and we expect them to show the results on the field. Our season will come down to how fast our younger players can adjust to the varsity level. The team is close both on and off the field, so the team chemistry is an asset. "
