The Top Position Players
Brandon Neville, OF, Marietta, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 165-pound tall thin build. The left-handed hitting outfielder, currently ranked #86 in Ohio's 2017 class shows a quiet compact swing. Very little movement in his lower half during his load. He starts even in his stance, and thrusts forward on the swing. Very quiet hands that stay short and connected to the ball. Smooth, even swing plane through the zone from the left-side of the plate. Showed the ability to hit to all portions of the field during his round of batting practice. Shows smooth footwork on his run-throughs in the outfield, throwing from a high-3/4 slot. Ran a showcase best 6.74-60 yard dash.
