Michael Hubert, LHP, Oak Hills, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 165-pound thin, projectable body frame. The lefty was the starting pitcher in this game. He throws with regular effort to his delivery and uses a good hip load to help with his velocity. He lands in a straight line at foot strike, finishing in a balanced position towards home plate. He throws with average arm speed coming from an upper ¾ to an over the top slot. He did a good job throwing strikes and mixing up his two pitches. His fastball was between 78-80 mph. His curveball showed gradual break with 1/7 tilt at 67-69 mph.

Mason Groves, RHP, Olentangy Liberty, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-11, 165-pound thin, projectable body frame. Currently ranked no. 22 in Ohio’s 2016 class. He was the starting pitcher for the Ohio Elite. He uses regular effort to his delivery. He has a little bit of a hip load and lands in a straight line at foot strike. He throws with a clean arm action using quick arm speed, coming from a ¾ slot. His fastball had some arm-side run to it between 85-88 mph. His curveball showed gradual break with some depth to it at 74-75 mph. His slider had more of a tighter break to it than his curveball at 79 mph.
