Arkansas 2025 Class Rankings Update: Fall Edition

Arkansas Staff

Prep Baseball Arkansas takes an updated look at the 2025 class rankings after the Fall season.  The 2025 class is shaping up to be one of the strongest classes in recent memory with 19 Division One commits already.  The strength in this class comes from the depth of pitching with multiple potential starters at the next level.  Along with the arms, the level of infield play also stands out as an outlier with multiple prospects showcasing big potential.  The Junior campaign can see the most movement throughout the year as players start to solidify themselves at the Varsity level or finally get a chance to crack that lineup after waiting out the upperclassmen from classes before.  Today we take a look at the Top 10 as well as a couple of uncommitted prospects that you should keep your eye on.

THE TOP 10

It's pretty apparent that the Razorbacks are cleaning up in the '25 class inside the Natural State with 10 of the top 11 recruits committed to coming to play at Baum Stadium.  Leading the way is the ultra-talented Landon Schaefer who offers up one of the best hit tools and the type of defensive actions it takes to be considered amongst the top infielders in the country.  The hard throwing right-hander who is coming off his impressive showing at the All-American Game, Brissey maintains his spot at number 2 on the list.  Jaison Delamar checks in at number three as one of the more toolsy athletes in the class with high upside and potential.

The next 5 up are the talented group of right-handers each flashing front line stuff.  Arkansas commits Grant Wren, McLane Moody, Russ Martin, and Peyton Lee each offer up potential power arm stuff.  Cael Turner flashed his high riding fastball last summer at the Future Games before landing his commitment to Oklahoma State.

Rounding out the top ten are the talented infielders Luke Cornelison and Landon Carter.  Both Arkansas commits, Cornelison has the type of power bat and physicality that play up at a high level and Carter bringing his elite athleticism to the table with his game chaning speed.

UNCOMMITTED PROSPECTS TO KEEP AN EYE ON

Casey Christ 2B / SS / Bentonville, AR / 2025

Christ ranks in at number 22 on the list with the Bentonville prospect being one of the top ranked remaining uncommitted prospects in the state.  Christ is able to generate a lot of power out of his lower half at the plate with strong drive and quick rotation around the core.  Defensively, he shows smooth rhythm and feel for glove action that should play on the right side of the infield.  Christ plays a highly skilled game that should garner some looks from programs at the next level.

Grant Karnes RHP / OF / Greenwood, AR / 2025

Karnes put his 2-way talents on display at this past summer's Future Games showing high-end upside on both sides of the ball.  The 6-foot-1 and 180-pound OF/RHP lets his athleticism shine both on the mound were he works the fastball up to 88 mph and shows a feel for a mid 70's slider as well as in the field where his carrying tool is his 6.69 speed.   Offensively, Karnes is able to use his natural leverage to generate exit velocities up to 92 mph with quick hands and strong bat speed.  With this high level of athleticism, don't be surprised to hear some strong buzz on him from the recruiting trail in the coming months.

Charlie Graves OF / 3B / Fayetteville, AR / 2025

Graves put up some of the more impressive tools for Team Arkansas at last summer's Future Games.  The Fayetteville product uses his high end hand speed and strong rotation to generate a ton of power packed into his projectable 6-foot-1 and 190-pound frame with exit velocities working up to 98.8 mph.  He also offers some speed with a 6.82 60 to cover a ton of ground in the outfield and an accurate arm in the outfield with strong pull down and carry.  His pop at the plate and athleticism makes for him to garner a good amount of interest from schools at the next level.

Cade Miller RHP / 1B / Rogers Heritage, AR / 2025

The 6-foot-3 and 175-pound 2-way prospect from Rogers Heritage put his potential on display at this past summer's Future Games where he showed projectability on both sides of the ball.  On the mound, Miller works the fastball in the mid to upper 80's and shows strong feel for tight spinning slider in the 2300's.  Offensively, he uses a simple approach and his natural leverage to get balls jumping off the barrel up to 92.6 mph with strong balance and barrel control.  Miller has a ton of upside and should be one to see make big jumps in the future as he continues to add strength to his long and lean frame.

Greyson Westbrook 3B / RHP / Wynne, AR / 2025

Westbrook is another standout from the Future Games that currently ranks at number 28 on the list.  Westbrook packs a ton of athleticism for a third baseman with a 6.76 60 time and enough arm strength to make plays deep in the infield.  He uses his high end bat speed to generate exit velocities up to 93.7 mph and shows short and direct routes to generate an easy line drive approach.  He can also jump onto the mound and use a clean arm action to work fastballs in the upper 80's and feel for a potential swing and miss breaking ball with late depth.  With his athleticism and strength, Westbrook can offer a ton of versatility to any defense or lineup at the next level.
