Game Preview:  A two game set with the top two teams in the Coastal (NCC) league to determine the league champion as the regular season wraps up this week. The Broncos come into the matchup sitting in first place with a one game lead over the Lancers with a 10-3 league record while the Lancers are at 9-4. Rancho Bernardo has been dynamic on offense this spring plating nearly 7 runs per game for a total of 147 runs in 25 games while the pitching staff has been stingy allowing only 76 runs in those 25 games for a tick over 3 runs per game. On the Lancers side their pitching staff has been steady and strong all spring long having allowed just 71 runs in 25 games for under 3 runs per game, but runs have been slightly tougher to come by for their offense who has plated 95 runs in that time for slightly less than 4 runs per game. For the Lancers to jump over the Broncos and win both games this week they will rely on their strong pitching staff to hold down the Broncos offense while finding away to scratch out enough runs to win both games and take the tile, but if the Broncos can split or win both games this week they will take the Coastal (NCC) crown.
